WELCOME

Welcome to the Giehm Lab

Welcome to our world of genetic engineering and molecular genetics. We study genome editing and gene transfer technologies for transgenesis and development of genetic therapies. Our mission is to innovate viral and nonviral gene delivery technologies for development of new gene correction and therapy concepts.

We are currently studying molecular disease mechanisms and new ways of delivering the goods for genome editing. We have established genome-wide screening technologies using CRISPR and are adapting forward genetic screens in studies of cancer drug tolerance as well as gene regulation in cancer and innate immunity.

Great news (Feb 2022)

Anne Bruun Rovsing received funding from the Neye Foundation to carry out genome-wide CRISPR screens for identification of drug resistance genes in B-cell cancer. We are excited about the support. Read more
